Precision Racing Labs Delivers a Statement Finish at National Round 4 – Three Podiums at Zwartkops
Precision Racing Labs closed the 2026 Rotax Max Challenge national season in style at Zwartkops Raceway, producing one of the team’s strongest collective performances of the year at National Round 4.
Against a deep, high-pressure field in the final national of the season, the squad delivered three podiums, two further top-five finishes, and multiple heat wins. The weekend was defined by fierce racing, resilience, and the kind of results that prove the grind of the year has been worth it.

The Standouts
Teresa Bettencourt produced a brilliant weekend in Micro Max to finish P2 overall, taking heat wins along the way and confirming her place among the class’s most consistent performers.
Ronaldo Koen delivered another elite showing in Junior Max. After a season spent fighting at the sharp end of the championship, he closed the nationals with a superb P2, backed by heat-winning pace and racecraft under pressure.
Jamie Smith made an outstanding Precision Racing Labs debut in DD2. Sitting second in the championship coming into the weekend, he immediately delivered — taking heat wins and finishing P2 overall in one of the toughest classes on the grid.
Tyler Stanyer added another strong P5 in Bambino, while Adriaan Steyn fought through a stacked Mini Max field to take P5 of his own. Gerrard Martin finished P9 in Bambino after another determined weekend of racing.

The result caps a year of growth for the team — from young Bambino drivers to Junior Max title challengers and a high-level DD2 debut. With the technical support of NBR Racing and the guidance of Young Driver Coach Klayden “KC” Ensor-Smith, Precision Racing Labs leaves Zwartkops with momentum, belief, and unfinished business for the rest of the season.
