Precision Racing Labs Goes All-In for the Final National of 2026 at Zwartkops
Precision Racing Labs is locked and loaded for the biggest and most important race of the season so far — Rotax Max Challenge South Africa National Round 4 at Zwartkops Raceway this weekend.
As the final national championship round of the year, everything is on the line. Points, positions, pride and championship aspirations will all be decided over the next three days of intense racing.
The team heads into the weekend with multiple drivers in strong championship contention and a full squad ready to fight until the chequered flag.
Championship Battles Heating Up
Several Precision Racing Labs drivers enter the final round with genuine opportunities:
Ronaldo Koen currently sits 3rd in the Junior Max Championship and still has a realistic chance of challenging for the title.
Adriaan Steyn also occupies 3rd place in the Mini Max Championship and is determined to finish the season with a strong result and a shot at the win.
In the Bambino class, Tyler Stanyer holds 5th in the championship, while Gerrard Martin sits 7th. Gerrard has expressed strong confidence that he can secure a top-five finish this weekend and climb the standings.
Jamie Smith Makes His Precision Racing Labs Debut
Adding significant weight to the team’s line-up is the debut of Jamie Smith in the highly competitive DD2 class. Currently sitting 2nd in the DD2 Championship, Jamie joins Precision Racing Labs for the final national of the year and will be aiming to make an immediate impact.
Unfortunately, Ayden Koen will miss the weekend after sustaining a broken arm while playing football. The entire team wishes him a full and speedy recovery.
